If You Are Ever In Osaka...

We found the adorable Junie Moon store in Osaka!

Darling inside and out --

We walked from the station and after a little searching found it.
{So glad we went on Tuesday and not Wednesday!}
I found a few fun items to add to my collection.

Royal Mail

A recent outfit addition to the Blythe closet.
{Multiple-piece sets with detailing are a current favorite.}
The little blouse has lace around the wrists.
The pinafore is pretty much perfect.

Update -- Blythe Corner

Still working on the 'Blythe' corner of the doll room.

I'm still making hangers and hanging little outfits.

Changing dresses --

I haven't put up wallpaper or decor yet,
but the rooms are collecting little items for future display.

Making Hangers

Making little doll hangers is fairly easy -- and fun!

You can find patterns and tutorials online.
I made these simply by wrapping the wire around a thick pen
to form the shape of the 'hanging' part.
{You can finish off the end of the hanger by making a little twist
with the needle-nosed pliers as you start. SEE PHOTO}
Then I shape the hanger by hand.
Hangers just need to be a good size for the little clothing you will hang on them.
Once I had a hanger I liked -- that became my pattern.
Finish by wrapping the wire around the 'neck' of the hanger and cut with wire cutters.

Supplies:
Needle-nose pliers
Small cylinder shape item {think -- thick pen or marker}
for forming 'hanging' part of hanger --
Wire {for jewelry}
I use a 14 gauge jewelry wire --
This wire is on the soft side.
If you are making the hangers for children
{or it the hangers will get a lot of use}
you might want to work with a sturdier wire.

Building for Blythe - Part 2

This past week I've been working on organizing our doll room.
Up until now we haven't had a great space for the Blythe dolls/clothing.
I found a great piece at Ikea that will be perfect --
I built it last week and slowly started to decorate.
{I really only need a small corner to set up a Blythe space.}

It is divided into 8 cubes --
clothing storage
vehicle storage
kitchen/eating
living
bath/laundry
bedroom
miscellaneous storage {blythe related books, etc.}
 accessories and sewing projects

Random picture that just makes me smile.

The other night I took some wire and made about 3 dozen hangers --
Fun to make, and cheaper than buying wooden ones.
{I'm not a fan of plastic hangers.}
 I've collected several little outfits over the past few years.
It was fun to hang them all up --
I'm using small tension rods in the 'closet' space.

Welcome Primrose

Welcome little Primrose --
Prim or Rosie for short.

Another darling from Australia.

She loves animals -- she is partial to white-spotted deer, foxes, and hedgehogs.
She loves watching the night sky and can identify any constellation.
She loves flowers and gardening.
